Our memorial bench scheme...
We are offering our users and the local community the exciting opportunity to purchase a memorial bench in memory of a loved one and have it installed on the Braintree Recreation Ground. We want to give you an opportunity to remember your loved one in the way of a memorial bench which we hope will last for years to come! Our online application is simple and easy to fill out, and we will guide you through it every step of the way with a very useful guide.
Why get a memorial bench?
A memorial bench acts as wonderful way to remember a loved one as well as working as a celebration of their life. The concept of a memorial bench aids in the grieving process for family members, acting as a safe, tranquil place for reflection. It is found that visiting this place to remember them can make a loss more bearable, particularly if the Braintree Recreation Ground once meant something to them or you.
For your piece of mind..
The Braintree Recreation Ground offers you a beautiful open space for remembering your loved one. We have recently installed a beautiful avenue of blossom trees along side the main public footpath going through the Recreation Ground. We are making this a Remembrance Avenue and would be the ideal location for your memorial bench. We are also applying to Essex Highways to have the main path through the middle resurfaced, to make it accessible to all. This is Location 2 & 3 on the application form.
